Guided by inspiring speakers like Lisa Whittle, Jessye Wilden, Dr. Lori Mize, and Julie Spears.
Daily yoga, beach walks, paddleboarding, meditation, and more to connect with nature and yourself.
The heart of this retreat is community and connection. Alongside 12 other women who understand, you’ll experience love, support, and the chance to share your journey. We have four incredible speakers who will be there with us, pouring out their hearts, sharing tools and resources, and offering guidance through prayer and experience.
You’ll leave with new tools for your journey, renewed hope, and a deeper sense of peace.
Hi, I’m Julie Spears, a grief and trauma coach with a passion for helping moms who’ve lost a child find strength, renewal, and joy again. After the tragic loss of my son, I discovered powerful tools and practices that helped me not only survive but transform my life.
Through deep work, I learned how to navigate the pain, reset my habits, and create a life with purpose, even in the midst of grief.
Now, I lead retreats and offer coaching that guide grieving mothers through their own journeys. My approach focuses on helping you reconnect with who you are, reset your mindset, and build new patterns that lead to living with joy, strength, and hope. I believe that no one should walk this path alone, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
If you’re ready to explore how you can move forward and reclaim your life, I invite you to join us on this retreat or schedule a one-on-one call with me. Let’s work together to find the clarity and strength you need to walk forward with purpose and joy.

The retreat will take place from November 3rd to November 8th in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. This week is designed for you to step away from your daily routine, take a break, and focus on your personal healing and growth. During this time, you will be surrounded by other moms who truly understand your journey, in a peaceful setting that encourages reflection and connection.
This retreat is for moms who feel ready to explore their grief and connect with others who understand the pain of losing a child. If you’ve lost a child and are looking for purpose, direction, or simply a way forward, this retreat is a space for you to find support, healing, and community.
If you’ve felt stuck in your grief, but deep down know that there is more to life, this retreat may be the right place for you. If you’re ready to begin the journey of healing and understand how trauma affects your body, mind, and spirit, this retreat is designed to help you take that next step.
This retreat is for you if:
You want tools and guidance to help you navigate grief.
You’re seeking a community that truly understands what you’re going through.
You’re ready to explore your emotions in a safe and supportive environment.
This retreat is not for moms who are not yet ready to engage in deep self-reflection or explore their trauma in a group setting. If your loss is very recent, or if you’re not yet ready to dive into the grief process with others, it may be better to wait until you feel more prepared.
Additionally, this retreat is not designed for moms who have experienced infant loss or miscarriage. While we deeply honor those types of loss, the focus of this retreat is specifically for moms who have raised and lost a child. We understand the grief of infant loss and miscarriage is unique, and we will be offering future retreats tailored specifically to those experiences.
If this doesn’t feel like the right time for you, know that there will be future opportunities, and I’m still here to support you when you’re ready.
This retreat is about giving you space to explore your grief in a supportive environment while also connecting with others who truly understand.
You will experience a combination of:
Group sessions where you can share your story and learn from others.
Personal reflection time to explore your emotions and grief.
Tools and discussions around understanding how trauma and grief affect your body, mind, and spirit.
The focus is on creating a space where you can begin to navigate your grief journey and find a way to live alongside it.
Here’s what you should pack:
Comfortable clothing for group sessions and personal reflection, Swimsuits for the pool or beach, Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat for outdoor activities, Flip-flops and comfortable shoes for walking or outdoor exploration, A special black & white outfit for a themed day of reflection, Toiletries and personal items for your daily routine.

Yes, all meals are provided and will be thoughtfully prepared for you. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know in advance so we can accommodate your needs. We want you to feel nourished and cared for throughout your stay.
This retreat is generously priced thanks to sponsorships and donations. I believe that every grieving mom deserves the opportunity to access this kind of support, and the generosity of others helps make that possible.
If you feel there are opportunities to share this retreat with potential sponsors or other moms in need, please help us spread the word. By doing so, you’re ensuring more moms can access the support they need during such a difficult time.
If you know a friend who is grieving, the best thing you can do is simply be there for her. Grief is a long and slow process, and sometimes words aren’t what’s needed—just knowing you’re there is enough. Please don’t push her to attend the retreat if she’s not ready - dealing with grief isn’t something that can be rushed, and only she will know when the time is right. Let her know that you’ll be there for her no matter what, and when she’s ready, she has support waiting for her.
If this retreat doesn’t feel like the right fit, or if you’re not ready yet, that’s perfectly okay. I offer 1-on-1 grief coaching, and I’ll be hosting additional retreats in the future.
You don’t have to wait for the next retreat to get support—if you’re interested in exploring ways to work with me, please book a call here and we can discuss what will best serve you. You don’t have to walk through your grief alone, and I’m here to support you whenever you’re ready.
